Hearty salads! Not a fan of the sandwich on white bread, too much mayo for me. They give you lots of dressings for your salad. Love the cookies but get there early for them. Good solid lunch place.

The location is within walking distance from work. The service is quick and everyone working is always polite and welcoming. The cookies are amazing and the grilled chicken sandwich with potato salad is legit the best ever eaten.

This has become a staple lunch go-to downtown for my coworkers and I. We are able to order ahead, pick up, and pay separately for our orders. The food tastes good and doesn't feel processed or food from a chain. We love the homemade vinaigrette they put on a lot of the sandwiches and salads, plus the best chocolate chip nut cookies they claim are the best in the world. I have had the New Yorker and Beef Melt sandwiches, and both were large enough that it was hard for me to finish the second half of the sandwiches. The prices are reasonable, and they give you plenty of food for the prices. We also like the potato salad, which is sweet and not full of mayonnaise like other potato salads, plus it is more like mashed potatoes than potato salad.

My five star rating is for customer service! Upon walking in we were greeted as if we were long time friends. Staff made us feel we were the most special customers they had for the day!!! It was as if they knew us and were glad we were back. Their genuineness and smiles were with the trip

I have been coming here for more than twenty years for breakfast and or lunch, sometimes both. I have never been disappointed, ever! My favorite breakfast is the Toasted cheese pita toast with the Sausage link inside. I also got a small grits this morning as well. Tell them, "no butter" in the grits, because they put too much. Ask for it on the side or none. The sweet tea is good and fresh daily baked cookies are delicious. On your first time there, ask for you free cookie. You will be hooked after that. I usually call on my way there, but they don't open until 6:30 am in the morning. They are also open half day on Saturday's also. On to the lunches, everything is tasty. The salads are good as well and get the Rider sauce for your dressing. The place is old and not fancy at all. That does not bother me. The food ROCKS!

Always love it here. This is our favorite breakfast place downtown. It is locally owned and operated. The food here is made fresh.
